BES Secure Network Engineer - MUST HAVE DV CLEARANCE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled WAN/LAN support team, where you will play a key role in monitoring, maintaining, and improving secure networks. You'll be working with a dedicated Bespoke Engineering Team (BES), providing specialist support to an essential user community.

• Providing high-level support and advice to the BES user community.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network performance.
• Owning and resolving incidents, escalating where necessary.
• Investigating service improvements and recommending enhancements.
• Producing and presenting service reports using analytical tools.
• Carrying out known implementation solutions and restoring baseline configurations.
• Handling complex issues up to 3rd Line level, ensuring network stability.
• Collaborating within a well-established, self-sufficient team.
• Participating in overtime and short-notice call-outs when required.

• Strong knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of Serial Networking Technologies (training for bespoke technologies provided).
• Minimum of two years of commercial networking experience.
• Experience working with LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, x21, X25, RS232 routing, voice, switching, and subnet addressing.
• Knowledge of ISDN, VPN, and broadband solutions.
• In-depth experience with networking hardware and network implementation.
• Certifications in networking technologies (desirable but not essential).
