iO Associates is looking for a REMOTE CONTRACT Senior Human Factors Engineer, to work at the Devonport site for one of the British companies that provide engineering services to the aerospace, defence, and nuclear industries. It is an expert in managing complex infrastructure. You will be responsible for preparing Human Factors Substantiation Reports (HFSRs) along with Task analysis. You will be providing professional Human Factors advice, direction and support to managers, employees and contracts to ensure compliance with current related legislation and company arrangements. Locations : Plymouth, UK Hourly rate : up to £85 per hour Inside IR35 Working pattern : REMOTE with visits required to Devonport Site, Plymouth *This role requires Security Clearance, so candidates with SC or SC clearable shall apply. A successful candidate will have : A strong background and understanding of Human Factors policy, industry legislation and systems engineering approaches along with experience in development of fault trees and Hierarchical Task Analysis THERP, HEART, NARA (preferable). Significant experience in driving or supporting HF Management and delivery within the UK nuclear industry and or complex infrastructure projects. An understanding of the nuclear site licence/authorisation conditions would be highly beneficial.
