Our client a well known Biog 4 Retail giant is currently actively looking to hire a Kafka Engineer/Administrator.

Location: Hybrid Working - London

Duration: 3 months with potential Extension

Rates: Competitive - Inside IR35 (via Umbrella)

Job Duties:

• This is very much on the admin side of Kafka, not a full Engineering role.
• Need to understand authentication of Kafka, the strategy set, however more about implementing & advising further
• Understand best practise and define best practise for them and execute best practise
• Familiar with pipeline actions
• Strategic thinker
• Customer focused mind set
• Understand Confluence and Apache Kafka
• Kafka MirrorMaker is running, therefore familiar with this and data replication.
• General cloud AWS experience
• Experience of turning around manual to automated. Anyone who has spotted an opportunity to automate a self-service would be great
• Kafka Administration
