Requirements Engineer - Disaster Recovery/Cloud/BCP/RTO/RPO

Project/Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Engineer with a strong background in Disaster Recovery, Cloud, and Business Continuity. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering and managing requirements for complex projects that involve both business stakeholders and technical teams. This role focuses on ensuring robust Backup/Restore processes and IT service continuity.

Main Tasks:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Plan and execute Disaster Recovery tests, validating recovery procedures and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers to ensure robust backup and restore processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement RTO/RPO strategies to mitigate risks.

Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Project Management (Mandatory).
- At least 5 years of experience managing large, complex projects focused on Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or IT service continuity (Mandatory).
- At least 5 years of experience in gathering and managing requirements for projects involving both business stakeholders and technical teams (Mandatory).
- Experience with BCP (Business Continuity Plans), RTO (Recovery Time Objectives), RPO (Recovery Point Objectives), or risk assessment methodologies (Mandatory).
- Experience in planning and executing Disaster Recovery tests and validating recovery procedures (Mandatory).
- Experience working on cloud-based projects (Nice to Have).
- Experience with IT infrastructure from a business perspective (Nice to Have).
- Relevant certifications or a Master's degree (Nice to Have).

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Project Management (Mandatory).
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (Nice to Have).

Language:
- Fluent in German (C1/C2) (Mandatory).
- Fluent in English (B2) (Mandatory).
