Multiple C# .NET Developers (Microservices, FinTech, New Squad) Bournemouth (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office) £50,000 - £100,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits Your new company I've been retained exclusively to recruit a new product team for a tech-first business that specialise managing investments for hedge funds, VC enterprises and private equity firms. They are insistent on working at the sharp edge of technology and will be bringing in 10-15 new tech hires over the next quarter. We are currently looking for Senior or Lead .NET Developers. You will be working hybrid in this role, with 3 days from their newly refurbished offices in Central Bournemouth, on commuting lines to London and 2 minutes from the Beach. The VP of Dev does not compromise on equipment and tools to ensure they are ahead of the game. You'll work on the development of their enterprise cloud-based platform which is a real differentiator in the market. The mandate to scale is clear, but only with the right people. You'll be joining a really high-level team in a flat structure where your voice will be heard. Developers here are involved in software design/architecture and from start to finish on modules so you'll get full life cycle exposure. With fast-growth comes excellent progression opportunities and a real diversity to the tech you can work with. Your role can be Back End, but if pushing a Full Stack role you will be using the latest version of Angular/Typescript (we are happy with people cross-training from React or Vue etc). Everything runs on the cloud through AWS Infrastructure (though Azure fine), so this experience would be a bonus. We expect Developers here to be involved with peer code reviews, unit/integration testing and refactoring/optimisation of code. What you'll get in return Working here you'll join a newly-formed team working on an enterprise level solution. There is great flexibility in working hours and it's a hybrid role with some home working available. They are offering a London salary on the South Coast which is rare to find and they will offer financial support to relocate for the role, and for any training/development you are interested in to further your career. On top of this there are some more fixed perks (generous holiday, private healthcare, access to flexible benefits). The Product Design team cover all of the design process including ideation, research, analysis, design and delivery - they are looking for someone that is comfortable with all of this. They're looking for this person to be a mix of hands-on and hands-off, so experience of working in a mixed role is essential. You don't have to have experience of being a "Lead" as such but certainly will need to at least have some experience of hands-off type work such as mentoring, delegating work, championing design thinking across a business, leading on design best practices, contributing to overall design strategy and much more. You will have 2-3 line reports, so having at least some management experience would be the minimum here. Due to the seniority of the role, they're ideally looking for someone that has experience across both web and mobile, as well as someone that has exposure to system/service design - someone with experience of working within FinTech or FinTech adjacent industries could stand out here. These things aren't absolutely essential but would be a massive bonus. The squads work cross-functionally, so you'll work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Testers, Engineering Managers and more. They are based in Glasgow City Centre and are looking for someone to be in the office 1-2 days per week. Salary on offer is up to £70,000 and have an amazing benefits package on top of this which includes a strong pension, 10% performance related bonus and much more. If you're an experienced Product Designer that is passionate about Green Energy, then please apply and/or get in touch with Jack Steven at Cathcart Technology.
