Software Development Engineer required by a successful, expanding company located in Bath. Due to continued growth the company now requires a Software Development Engineer to job their Research and Development team. This role is to help develop code, graphics, and user experience to design digital models of 3D objects. You will develop prototypes of new design features and workflows through research and development of new modelling techniques and the development of code in both Python and C++. Looking for someone with: A Degree within a technical subject Degree-level qualification in animation, digital modelling or graphics programming of 3D objects and scenes. Previous experience in digital animation, digital modelling, or graphics programming for eg movies or computer games development, Programming experience in Python, MATLAB or a similar programming language. Familiarity with additive manufacturing (AM) Familiarity with the principles of Design for Additive Manufacturing processes.
