Job Title: AI Chatbot Business/Functional Analyst Location: Mechelen, Belgium (Hybrid: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote) Duration: 6 months Languages: English & Dutch Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical AI Chatbot Business/Functional Analyst to join our team in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a hybrid role requiring a combination of on-site collaboration (2 days per week) and remote work (3 days per week). The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, analysing, and optimising AI-powered chatbot solutions to enhance customer experience and business efficiency. Key Responsibilities Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, developers, and AI teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements for chatbot solutions. Define functional and non-functional requirements for AI chatbots, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create conversational flows that improve user experience. Analyse chatbot performance and user interactions to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of chatbot solutions with existing systems. Conduct functional testing and validation of chatbot implementations, ensuring they meet defined business requirements. Provide training and documentation for internal teams and stakeholders to maximise chatbot utilisation. Stay up to date with industry trends, AI developments, and best practices in chatbot design and implementation. Required Skills & Qualifications Language skills: Proficiency in English and Dutch (both written and spoken). Experience: Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or related role, preferably in AI/chatbot projects. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AI, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and chatbot platforms such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Google Dialogflow, IBM Watson, or similar. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret business needs and translate them into functional chatbot solutions. Stakeholder Management: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business leaders. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions. Nice to Have Knowledge of automation and RPA (Robotic Process Automation). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic programming or Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
