Your new role As the Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models, ETL processes, reports, and dashboards, delivering end-to-end BI solutions from data ingestion to processing and visualisation. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience of delivering end-to-end BI solutions Experience of agile/iterative development including refining, and estimating user-stories, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of Business Intelligence solutions Strong Scripting/programming skills in languages such as Python/R and advanced knowledge of SQL. In-depth knowledge of data warehouse design and development including data modelling (Kimball) and developing ETL/ELT processes Experience of designing and implementing Power BI semantic models and developing measures in DAX. Experienced in delivering reports and dashboards in Power BI with expertise in data visualisation, best practise and accessibility standards Experience of Azure DevOps including backlogs, boards, GIT, automation, and deployment pipelines Knowledge and understanding relevant information, security risks and mitigation Knowledge and understanding of data protection regulations including GDPR The ability to think strategically, pay close attention to detail, and proactively research solutions and best practices, with proven analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
