They will work closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable the delivery of high-quality software products. The role involves automation of application installation and not automation of server infrastructure. Tasks & Responsibilities: Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient systems, tools, and processes that ensure the availability and performance of our software products. Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues that affect system reliability and performance. Create and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that provide visibility into the health and performance of our systems and applications. Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management using tools like Ansible, and Kubernetes. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup systems, and other measures that ensure the availability and integrity of our data. Conduct performance testing, capacity planning, and other activities that help us scale our systems to meet business demands. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner. Continuously evaluate and improve our systems, tools, and processes to ensure they meet our current and future needs. Must haves: 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools eg: Elastic Stack, Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch. Strong knowledge of supporting applications running on Windows Servers. Strong Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby. Good knowledge of Windows systems administration, networking, security, and Microsoft SQL Server. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience . Interpersonal skills: Excellent analytical skills, good problem solving and root cause analysis approach Ability to take the initiative and organize own work; flexibility; service orientation; ability to perform under pressure against tight deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills.
