GCP Senior Data Modeller/Business Architect/GCP Data Analyst/SME Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires experienced GCP Senior Data Modeller/Business Architect/ and GCP Data Analyst/SME to be based in their client's offices in London or Edinburgh , UK. This is a hybrid role, and you may be able to work some days remotely. This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start ASAP. Day rate: Competitive Market rate. The client is looking for: An experienced Data Modeller to help shape migration/reimagining of on-prem applications and Data Models into GCP Data Products An experienced Data Analyst to analyse the existing Database or Data Warehouse jobs and work with Data Modeler in designing the Data Products on GCP Key Responsibilities: GCP Senior Data Modeller/Business Architect: Drive and ensure that data modelling aspects of solution design meet the business requirements Create conceptual data models and align to Enterprise Data Model Create logical data models and schemas Create physical data models and schemas that support performance and access requirements Define the mappings between physical and logical data models Help the designed Data Models take through the governance process Register the GCP Data Products in Collibra GCP Data Analyst/SME: Back trace the Database or Data Warehouse jobs and prepare STTM (Source-To-Target Mapping) sheets Identify the source and downstream systems corresponding to system in scope of migration/re-imagination Identify the data ingestion and data consumption patterns and define the target state requirements Help the Data Modeler in designing Enterprise Data Products Key Requirements: Knowledge in ER Studio Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (including components such as GCS buckets, BigQuery, Kafka etc) Knowledge of enterprise data modelling techniques such as de-normalised views, star schemas etc Knowledge of Data de-normalization and normalization techniques Knowledge in Advanced SQL, SSIS packages, Python and Shell Scripting Should understand the Data Model terminology (Conceptual Data Model, Logical Data Model, Physical Data Model) Experience in Agile Methodology Client facing and team member skills Due to the volume of applications received, unfortunately we cannot respond to everyone. Junior Solution Architect - Power Platform/Data Governance Stoke - x3/4 days per week onsite £45,000 P/A (Sponsorship is not provided for this opportunity) Our customer is seeking an ambitious Junior Solution Architect to join their team, focusing on data governance and leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in development or analysis, eager to transition into solution architecture and expand their expertise in Power Platform technologies. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Implementation: Collaborate with senior architects and stakeholders to design and implement scalable Power Platform solutions that align with business objectives. Data Governance Strategy: Assist in developing and enforcing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across the organisation. Technical Development: Contribute to the development and customisation of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reports, adhering to best practices. Integration: Support the integration of Power Platform solutions with other systems and applications, such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure services. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices, applying new knowledge to enhance solution delivery. Documentation & Support: Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture, design, and user guides. Provide support to end-users and client teams to ensure successful adoption of Power Platform solutions. Ideal Candidate Profile: Background: Experience as a Junior Developer or Analyst, with a strong foundation in software development or data analysis. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and integration capabilities. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or Python is advantageous. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively in a business context. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power Platform or related Microsoft technologies are a plus.
