Build Manager (Rigging/Mobile Comms/Telecoms) Salary Up to £55,000 per annum + Company Benefits (28 days holiday/pension/flexible working) Location: Kidderminster PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Build Manager will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The role will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical, Civils, Rigging and DICI activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Duties and Responsibilities: *To be responsible for ensuring the completion of planning and coordinating the logistics of the projects, working closely with the clients and the Project team *Monitoring and reporting of Real Time progress on a Daily basis to the Programme Manager *Management of internal and external resources in the delivery of the construction Rigging and DICI activities end to end. *Liaise with the client and Project team to ensure delivery of milestones are being met *Compiling handover and pack documentation where required *Responsible for ensuring that Health and Safety is implemented, and all concerns are reported through to the Health and Safety team *Liaising with Rigging teams, both internal and external resource, on a day to day basis to resolve issues *Reviewing of detailed designs *Feedback and communication to the project team on a regular basis *Attend Pre-Starts and formulate Pre-start minutes (Client Form) and POW *Complete pick list and kit call off's *Update Site Live PACS & any other project tools to ensure sites are kept current General Responsibilities: *To adhere to the Company's Equal Opportunities policy in all activities, and to actively promote equality of opportunity wherever possible *To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and relevant EC directives *To work in accordance with the Data Protection Act *To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected *To strive for continuous improvement by looking for improvements and raising ideas and suggestions Skills - Essential: *An understanding of labour, materials and plant requirements on site build projects *Ability to organise and prioritise work in a timely and effective manner *Able to multitask on a variety of tasks *Team player with strong collaboration skills *Excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Excel) *Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment *Effective communication skills *Ability to delivery high standards and a right first-time approach Knowledge - Essential: *An understanding of rigging installation, mobile telephone masts and towers inclusive of civils and DICI Experience - Essential *An understanding of the rigging industry *Previous experience in project engineering, build or field-based engineering role *Experience in a telecommunication industry If you are interested in this role, can recommend anyone, or require further information please do not hesitate to contact Drew Derry on (see below) or via email on (see below).
