Starting PLM and CAD, the company has expanded into MES, GIS, ERP, and BI. The Role - To ensure the seamless industrialisation and introduction of new high-reliability products and processes into production for submerge products. This role is responsible for providing the necessary specifications, equipment, machines and tooling to guarantee that products can be reliably and consistently assembled and tested. Key Relationships: Internal: SED/R&D, Production, Material Control, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, SQM External: Tooling Suppliers Responsibilities: Improve mechanical assembly processes using lean manufacturing. Manage new process introduction projects from concept to handover. Create/manage technical documentation for new equipment/processes. Develop and execute validation plans with R&D. Validate tooling, test benches, and new processes. Monitor project KPIs and budget. Manage SPR and PO. Perform PUWER assessments. Define maintenance strategies and TPM for equipment. Conduct FMEA and risk assessments. Collaborate with R&D for manufacturing ease and quality. Evaluate prototypes and provide feedback. Collect data and generate Lessons Learned reports. Define tooling and equipment for assembly. Review and validate contract documentation. Attend NPI meetings and provide input. Ensure procedures are approved and issued as planned. Write clear build and process specifications. Procure, design, and validate equipment per standards. Define and maintain standard build times. Supervise and support production during first builds. Instruct operators on assembly. Write EWAs and define corrective actions. Improve production processes for efficiency and quality. Conduct compliance audits. Lead/participate in Kaizen projects.
