Maintaining relationships with existing clients. Work closely with other MSPs and technology partners to ensure agreed service levels are being met. Ensure the provision of stable and secure communications infrastructure within agreed service levels. Provide 2nd and 3rd line support services to ensure timely resolution of assigned incident and problem tickets. Plan and implement managed changes and maintenance works to IT infrastructure, involving other internal or external service providers as required and following internal change management processes. Quality Assurance, where relevant, of change management (RFC) documentation pertaining to voice, data, cloud, automation and security infrastructure. Ensure sufficient capacity at all times through proactive monitoring of the network, maintenance of relevant information, reporting and documentation systems and by exposure to changes to systems and business requirements. Contribute capacity planning expertise to project activities in order to ensure that sufficient capacity is available to support the planned introduction or extension of services. Ensure environments are pro-actively monitored/tuned to maintain service availability and performance. Use, and maintain the network management systems, providing reporting data and statistics as required to IT management and to support project planning and development. Assist in providing technical support and direction to project and development teams as required. Contribute to the future direction of infrastructure through keeping up to date with emerging industry developments and trends (eg automation). Ensure infrastructure is secured and managed in line with the standards and governance frameworks, providing supporting information to underpin this as required. Ensure support processes are defined and continuously reviewed, appropriate documentation created and training requirements are identified. Where appropriate prepare and deliver cross team training. Manage infrastructure assets ensuring the correct balance of proactive & reactive maintenance, to deliver optimum service levels. Ensure compliance to IT governance processes. Following, defining and improving process and procedures to ensure full compliance to governance requirements. Adhere to the Change Management processes; ensuring changes are implemented with minimal business impact where possible and to ensure risk and impact is considered. Define the critical application events to understand the impact/key aspects of Application/Infrastructure changes. Participate in design and technology reviews and provide documentation where needed. Resolve incidents and service requests within SLA's to deliver optimum service to businesses with management of any third parties or partners. Work closely with Incident and Problem Managers on Issues/Investigations/RCA and Resolutions. Escalate issues promptly and effectively - completing the required documentation needed to pass to other Resolver Groups or teams. Implement strategies to manage the scalability and growth of a rapidly expanding environment. Be able to cover on call, shift and weekend work as and when required.
