Dimensional systems engineering ensures that vehicle designs and features meet customers' expectations, including reporting on body quality progress. Facilities engineering is responsible for making certain that parts are delivered to production lines on time and to agreed quality standards. Vehicle Configuration Acceptance Testing (VCAT) evaluates both software and electrical systems before delivery. Along the way, you will learn problem-solving skills and gain expertise in project management and data analytics. WHAT'S REQUIRED? You will need to be on track to achieve at least a 2.2 degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) discipline (not including biology or life sciences). We are particularly interested in hearing from mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing engineering undergraduates but will also consider aeronautical and automotive engineering students if you have a strong interest in manufacturing. In addition, you will have real passion for problem-solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions. You will also have strong numerical and interpersonal skills and the confidence to champion new initiatives. Please note that our undergraduate placement opportunities are open only to penultimate-year students (those who will be returning to their final year of study or on an integrated master's after their placement with us).
