Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Handler to join the Engineering and Technology Information Security team. 3 days in office in London Salary is up to £60k base or match your expectation The successful candidate will: Act as hands-on expert and builder for cloud-based technologies with security, performance, operability and scale in mind Act as internal expert to technology and business groups, enabling and supporting the adoption of cutting-edge Front End technologies Build strong relationships with developers, technology teams, solution teams and business vapplication owners Form and implement and enforce industry best practices. Develop and implement new innovative and differentiating cloud technologies, Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher MIS, CS or other technology related field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience 5+ years of engineering and technology experience, preferably in Financial Services Technology, or related field 2+ years of proven experience analysing cybersecurity incidents through the lens of industry standard frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK 2+ years of handling cybersecurity incidents at each stage of the incident life cycle, including initial detection and analysis, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery 2+ years of experience handling incidents originating from an AWS environment with knowledge of AWS Security in areas such as IAM, KMS, and Network Infrastructure Experience working with AWS threat detection and logging services such as GuardDuty and CloudTrail as well as industry standard Cloud SIEMs such as DataDog Ability to liaise with SOC Analysts and Threat Hunters from our Managed Detection and Response vendor Position may require occasional travel outside of primary work location 2+ years of AWS or other hyperscale cloud provider implementation experience
