Network Security Architect - SC/DV Cleared - 6 Month Contract/12 Month FTC We are looking for a SC/DV Cleared Network Security Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring robust protection across IT systems. This is a 6 Month contract or 12 Month FTC opportunity across Birmingham or Manchester. Key Details: Duration: 6 Month Contract/12 Month FTC Location: Hybrid (Travel to site 1-2 days per week) Rate/Salary: Negotiable Key Responsibilities: Design and implement advanced network access control solutions (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass). Architect Firewall and ZTNA solutions (Cisco, Fortinet), including cloud security deployments. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Evaluate and enhance existing security measures for LAN, WAN, VPN, and network infrastructure. Stay updated on emerging security threats, standards, and frameworks. Essential Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with switching, routing, Firewalls, and enterprise-scale network security deployments. Minimum CCNP (CCIE preferred). Ability to assess security risks, design security architecture, and implement effective solutions. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Desirable Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL processes.
