Working in the given territory of Ireland to service a product range that includes skinning, derinding and slicing machines. This role also includes international travel to support the main factory in servicing and installing the range of machines. This work will be planned in advance to gain a proficient understanding of the specified Product Ranges and their associated ancillary products both in terms of Product & Technical Knowledge and the relevant skills needed to install, commission and service the range. SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting directly to the General Manager-initially on your in-depth training program, subsequently working to an agreed service target. Responsible for installation, commissioning and servicing of our specified product ranges. Daily reporting on service schedules would then revert to reporting to the service manager in the UK. This role also requires close customer contact and visiting on a monthly basis to check that the machines are providing the cost savings and productivity that the customer requires. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES. . Primary objective is to install, commission and service to OEM standards. To achieve, then exceed your budget target, agreed with your sales manager after you have completed your training program, on chargeable hours. . To produce training courses for our customers to be given in-house or at our customer's premises on the product range. . To train up operatives, cleaning and maintenance staff of our customers to a high level on all product groups. To provide service contracts to our customer base either monthly or quarterly. . To create a professional interface with our customers for all aspects relevant to Capital Service and the rest of the business. . To forge good and effective working relationships with all departments and personnel, to assist with your role. . To communicate at least daily (initially far more often) but whenever necessary with the General/Service Manager to update progress, resolve problems and feedback information. . To be Self Motivated and Self Organised so that after training you are able to work without direct supervision. . To fully understand and work to the companies policies and procedures and be aware of the employee handbook guidelines, ensuring each procedure is acknowledged and carried out to its requirements. . To ensure all leads are acted upon without delay and followed through to their conclusion, including recording/reporting of the outcome. This is currently being produced on a Technical and sales CRM software package which you will be fully trained in the use of. . To ensure all customer communication is timely, accurate and projects a professional image whilst remaining within Company policies. . To be competent using Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, being able to input, extract and interpret relevant information from these systems to enable you to fulfil your role. . Initially in conjunction with the General Manager, but after training under your own initiative to plan the most cost effective routing around your territory in the securing of the budget and all other aspects of the job. . To maintain at all times accurate, realistic and up to date Prospect Lists for your range of products, reporting these to your managers as required. . To be flexible in your approach to ensure that the department and business needs of the Company are met. This may require you assisting other departments and working outside of your contracted hours, including weekends. . To be called upon to support our direct offices (USA, Italy, Russia) and the other 50 distributors around the World for planned service work and installations of machines. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS. To have some experience in field service environment. Mechanical engineering background knowledge of electrical engineering. Software/PLC knowledge is an advantage. To have some experience in the meat/fish/poultry or food industry on service equipment To be able to work away from home on a regular basis (4 nights a week). To be able to work anti-social and long hours. To be flexible in the approach. To be a "go-getter" and have a winning mentality To have a full clean UK or Irish driving licence. To have an up to date UK or Irish Passport. To be able to travel at short notice to customers plants or suppliers in Europe To be able to work weekends when required. Salary and Benefits. Starting salary of 50,000.00. KPI bonus in first year €5,000.00. Fully expensed service van (currently VW Transporter). 20 days holiday plus bank holidays in Ireland. Overtime payments outside of normal working hours -x1.5 Monday-Friday after 20.00 and x2.0 for any weekend or bank holiday work. Additional bonus payments for travel outside of the UK and Ireland for planned service/installation work for Grasselli S.p.A. Laptop and mobile phone. Company card for out of pocket expenses
