Role Overview : As part of the DBA team within the wider Product and Customer Support function, you will: Support both internal teams and external clients. Manage incidents and problems related to production systems. Work within a complex financial software environment. Assist with first-time installations or upgrades of database systems. Analyse and resolve database performance issues. Maintain internal database infrastructure. Contribute to research and development related to database technologies. Participate in a shared rota for daily production support responsibilities. Collaborate closely with software development, consulting teams, and third-party support providers. Produce technical documentation and procedures. Share your expertise and support knowledge-sharing within the team. Profile Required : Experience in a DBA role. Proficient in English (C1 or higher); knowledge of French (B1 or above) is an advantage. Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. Prior experience with Oracle databases is highly desirable. Familiarity with Cloud platforms (eg, OCI, AWS) is a plus. Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and Scripting. Knowledge of server-grade hardware is advantageous. ITIL knowledge considered beneficial. Strong teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and resilience under pressure. Strong communication and presentation skills. Well-organised, autonomous, and detail-oriented. Motivated to learn beyond the core DBA remit. Willingness to travel occasionally for business. Availability to provide weekend on-call support as required. Able to prioritise tasks effectively. Committed to improving quality and efficiency.
