Perform additional tasks as identified by the Head of Hardware. Qualifications Degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering. Demonstrable practical design and construction experience. Skills and Experience Competent in both analogue and digital electronics engineering. Experience in photonics systems development is highly desirable but not essential. Proficient in ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout. Skilled in circuit simulation and prototype building using through-hole or SMD technology. Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word and Excel. Ability to program microcontrollers and experience with assembler, C, or similar languages. Knowledge of programmable logic is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and the company QMS is desirable. Ability to produce high-quality engineering documentation.
