What you will be doing (the role) . Produce architectural solutions, including security requirements and detailed designs, aligned with enterprise architecture standards to meet acceptance criteria . Design and implement high-performance architectural patterns while analysing the performance of complex Salesforce orgs to ensure stability and efficiency . Review and quality assure artifacts from external suppliers and internal teams, ensuring adherence to business and non-functional requirements . Shape technical roadmaps that identify the scope, prioritization, and timelines for delivering capabilities, while addressing technical debt . Significant experience of working through the end-to-end project and/or product delivery life cycle with employees, 3rd party or offshore suppliers following development methodologies (eg Prince2, RUP, Scrum, Agile, DevOps) Essential . Ability to design and implement high-performance architectural patterns resulting from the analysis of complex Salesforce orgs to ensure stability and efficiency . Highly proficient in software engineering with a track record of using design patterns to modularise and decouple systems and of adhering to SOLID principles . Salesforce Admin, Developer II and Architect certified and actively working toward additional Salesforce certifications . Proven ability to innovate within a product stack while ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards . Proficient knowledge of UML for effective modelling and design . Good overall understanding of technology trends and industry standards in IT products and best practices for application, solution, and platform architectures . Commercially aware with the ability to understand supplier proposals and promote cost-effective solutions .
