We are working with a large company within the aerospace industry who is seeking a CAD Technician.

Permanent role in Denham, Middlesex

The role:
you will be responsible for producing and maintaining, product definition information (PDI) including 3D models, product manufacturing information (PMI) as well as detail, and assembly engineering drawings, that are commercially viable and suitable to manufacture against and without ambiguity.
As a CAD Technician, you will be working within their Mechanical Engineering team, effectively collaborating across a wide range of products, support and testing equipment, textiles, and technologies. These may include mechanical components (machined and fabricated), as well as electronic/electrical systems, pyrotechnics, mechanisms, and machines.

Skills:

Proficiency in 3D CAD software for model and part definition.

Knowledge of material and process selection.

Tolerance and clearance analysis.

Commitment to the highest standards of work.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Education & Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering Advanced Vocational Qualification (ONC/HNC/NVQ).
