Cloud and Infrastructure Manager

• Location: Based x2 days from either of the following offices Cambridge, Chelmsford, Norwich or Ipswich
• 1 day per week required to travel to Ipswich- expenses paid
• Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
• Region: East Anglia-based preferred

The Role

Our legal client are seeking an experienced Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of two engineers in managing, optimising, and transitioning cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of IT, you'll ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals while driving strategic improvements.

You will be involved in a variety of Azure projects, so an end-end understanding of the product will be essential.

Based x2 days from either of the following offices Cambridge, Chelmsford, Norwich or Ipswich with 1 day per week required travel to Ipswich office- expenses paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cloud/infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Manage team performance and provide technical guidance.
• Align IT infrastructure with business objectives and future growth.
• Optimise system reliability and troubleshoot issues.
• Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with IT teams on new technologies and initiatives.

About You:

• 5+ years in senior infrastructure roles with strong Azure experience.
• Leadership skills with a proven track record of team and project management.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
