Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description & Skill Requirements:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience in mechanical design for process industries. Experience in the food processing industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

• Utilize Vault (PLM) for managing design data.

• Apply expertise in mass-balances, P&IDs, and general processing.

• Design and analyze manufacturing processes, sheet metal components, and mechanical systems.

• Perform general mechanical design calculations.

• Work with ERP systems and maintain project documentation in Word and Excel.

• Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering team and Project Management to ensure effective execution.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, preferably including:

  • Machinery Directive

  • EN60204-1, EN13849-1/2, EN60079-14

  • ISA88/106

Qualifications & Soft Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with a proactive, accurate, and flexible approach.

• Excellent team player with a customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
