Python Data Engineer - Azure, Data Modelling.
This is a long-term contract opportunity for our Zürich based client within the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Implement a solution for data multi-tenancy and seeding of data from different source system environments on the clients data landscape which runs on Azure Databricks
• Performing analysis, design and implementation work
• Making changes across multiple areas of the solution ie application code, data storage and Azure platform

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong Python development skills
• Financial Services business background (Banking, Insurance etc.)
• Good database knowledge including data modelling and SQL
• Experience of writing code, testing of code via automation, refactoring, measuring and optimizing performance
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
