About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a specialist software consultancy delivering bespoke solutions for complex operational challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting Central Government projects, contributing to mission-critical systems that enhance national security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
• Work with Java (Spring Boot) for Back End development and JavaScript/React for Front End development.
• Utilise AWS and Azure to deploy software systems in cloud environments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to maintain software quality and security.
• Engage regularly with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) for Back End development.
• Full Stack expertise with JavaScript and React.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS or Azure environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) - British passport holder and UK resident for the last 5 years.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in consultancy or government-based projects.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and cloud security best practices.
• Passion for working on highly sensitive national security projects.
