You MUST have the following:

• Experience as Lead Solutions Architect/Senior Engineering Manager/Head of Trading Systems
• Delivery of highly performant Front Office trading applications
• A strong and current technical ability including Java
• Decent understanding of financial markets whether in commodities, FX, Fixed Income or equities
• Excellent leadership experience of multiple teams
• Advanced design and architectural ability
• Agile

Role: Lead Solutions Architect (Applications Solutions Principal Senior Head of Trading Software Engineer Programmer Developer Team Technical Lead Manager Architect Engineering Department Fixed Income Java Credit Rates Bonds Agile Buy Side Asset Manager Investment Management Banking Finance Front Office Front Office Trading Financial Services) required by our trading software client in Manhattan, New York City. You will manage a team of 6 managers and 50 engineers overall that are building out a new trading application. The application has been built and released but further functionality needs to be built and technical improvements need to be made.

This is a modern environment with React, Ag-Grid, desktop interoperability on the Front End and AWS, Java and a data mesh on the Back End. You will still be hands-on, technically capable and up to date with technology. You will be an experienced manager and will have led teams of teams to deliver highly performant, modern, scalable trading applications.

You will be excellent at collaborating with product and UX teams and reporting to senior management. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a product the success of which will affect the company's performance. It has the potential to make the company a market leader.

The company operates hybrid working where you will be in the office 2-3 times/week.

Comp: $225-300k + 50% Cash Bonus + 50% Share Options + 401k ($500-700k comp)
