You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as an Engineering Manager/Development Manager/Software Engineer Manager
• A background in the delivery of Front Office trading applications
• Good line management experience covering appraisals, performance and hiring
• Advanced JavaScript, TypeScript and React
• Great design and architecture ability
• Redux
• Good foundation of knowledge in equities, FX, Fixed Income or commodities trading
• Agile

Role: React Front End Architect (Architecture Software Engineer Programmer Developer Architect Team Technical Lead Manager React TypeScript Redux Saga Ag-Grid Fixed Income JavaScript Node Credit Rates Bonds Agile Buy Side Asset Manager Investment Management Banking Finance Front Office Trading Financial Services UI Front End Front End) required by our trading software client in Manhattan, New York City. You will lead and manage a team of 10 engineers that are responsible for a new trading application. The application has been built and released but further functionality needs to be built. With the collaboration of the UX and product teams, you will work with your team of engineers to deliver the application's expansion over the next 2 years. You will be very hands-on and still code, conduct code and design reviews and implement best practices and standards across the team. You will have full line management responsibility of the team and mentor junior team members. You will also be responsible for appraisals, performance and hiring. The technical stack is React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, Ag-Grid and GraphQL. Experience building systems that interface with Java products is desirable. You must have worked on trading applications.

You will stay up to date with technology and be aware of trends, new tools, languages and frameworks coming onto the market.
