Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a proactive Azure Cloud Engineer with a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to quickly adapt to our clients cloud platforms. The team is responsible for maintaining a sovereign cloud platform operated exclusively in Switzerland, as well as supporting specific workloads in a regional cloud environment.

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be actively involved in all phases of the cloud platform life cycle, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on automation. Additionally, you will assist in integrating new applications efficiently and productively, leveraging the expertise of a global network.

• Develop and manage the technical capabilities of the cloud operations team in Switzerland
• Build and maintain the cloud platform while supporting multiple Azure solutions aligned with business needs
• Exchange best-practice knowledge with international cloud teams
• Develop and maintain automation solutions for deploying platform and application workloads
• Monitor and manage technical escalations for cloud operations, continuously identifying new tools and practices to enhance the cloud platform

• A curious and adaptable professional who embraces new technologies and actively shares knowledge with team members
• Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400); additional certifications in cloud architecture, system administration, or development are an advantage
• Experience with automation and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, and C#
• Strong knowledge of configuring and managing Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with infrastructure components such as databases, Active Directory, DNS, Firewalls, and networking, both in Azure and on-premises data centres
• Familiarity with agile software development tools and methodologies
