As a key member of the programme team reporting to the Senior Manager - Finance Processes working exclusively on the S/4HAHA program. This high-profile role provides exposure to a wide range of Finance, IT and other colleagues and process experts across all levels, along with experience of new areas both within finance and across the wider business whilst gaining valuable project/programme management skills.
Transformation programme for a UK based Pharmacy retailer.
Key responsibilities: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)
- Oversee the design, implementation and deployment of an end-to-end real estate and lease solution
- Manage virtual network team of process analysts and subject matter experts
- Responsible for providing guidance and input to other activities including data conversion and cleansing, reporting, testing, training, and deployment planning
- Design and support UAT scenarios and execution to confirm the integrity of your end-to-end process design
- Awareness of the impact of the programme across the business and teams, and leading/supporting engagement across the business/Finance teams.
- Liaison with on and offshore colleagues/process owners
- Continued engagement and support of Process Owner network post deployment
Key skills/knowledge/experience: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)
- Qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, ACCA,
CIMA)
- Have a working knowledge of lease accounting under both IFRS 16 and US GAAP
- Good knowledge and experience of SAP
- Willing to challenge, ability to spot potential errors and identify areas of focus/challenge within processes and systems
- Ability to explain complex financial issues to those with a non-finance background, and build strong relationships with senior business partners across the business
- Ability to build and grow existing networks across the business
- Appreciation of US SOX controls environment, and an understanding of system controls
- Ability to work in a project role with the potential for ambiguity and changing priorities, operating to tight deadlines, including prioritisation of own and team tasks
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to take on challenges and involvement in details as required
- Deep process knowledge in area of expertise
- Effective team leader and motivator
- Should have very good depth knowledge in SAP S4 HANA with latest technology and functionality
