Excellent long term contract opportunity for a Software Developer - AWS DevOps with 5 years' experience to work nearshore for a leading client based in Switzerland.

Essential skills :

• Design and IaC implementation of deployment and deployment automation for AWS environment, in particular hands-on skills in CloudFormation and Cloud Pipeline
• CICD Tools, preferably Bamboo
• Build tools for Java, Angular, Docker
• Release management and life cycle
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Desirable skills:

• RDBMS design, optimization, maintenance, and data migration, ideally for Oracle and Postgresql within AWS environment
• AWS IaC implementation with CDK
• Development with Java, Spring Boot v3, JPA, Angular 8+
• SSO configuration, such as OAuth2, OIDC
• Test automation

Required experience:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS and IaC automation.
• At least 5 years of experience in implementation of DevOps and CICD.
• At least 5 years of experience in implementation of the build processes for Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Docker.

Desirable:

• SCRUM, Agile, Prince2 methodologies.
• RDBMS DBA experience
• Java, Spring Boot, Angular development experience

Education:

• University degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.
• AWS Certification

Tasks:

• Work with Solution Architects and other Developers to design, document, develop, test, and deliver deployment and deployment automation (IaC) scripts.
• Work with development teams on build and test automations.
• Help development teams to perform their tasks, configure local and remote environments, prepare data and configure access.
• Participate in Java, Angular and RDBMS development activities.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and release management activities.
• Support relevant systems in production, troubleshoot and remediate system problems affecting availability and functionality.
• Efficiently collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and other client teams.
• Ensure alignment with client's technical standards and procedures. Follow the client development practices, including activity tracking with JIRA, CICD pipeline usage and alignment with client Cloud practices.
