IT Incident Manager

50% on-site in brussels, 50% remote working

Must be based in Brussels.

Proficiency in French and English; basic Dutch is a plus.

As an Incident Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, managing escalated incidents, and driving continuous improvement.

Role Overview:
Start Date: 3rd February 2025
End Date: 2nd February 2026

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end monitoring and resolution of major incident
  • Coordinate escalated incidents and crisis meetings, ensuring swift service restoration.
  • Maintain clear communication with IT teams and internal customers regarding incident status.
  • Develop Post-Incident Reports (PIRs) and identify potential structural improvements.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly incident reports, trend analyses, and lessons learned

Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification: ITIL certified.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in incident management, particularly with complex, transversal incidents.
  • Experience in a banking environment is advantageous.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of multi-platform IT architecture and dependencies.
  • Languages: Proficiency in French and English (both oral and written); basic Dutch is a plus.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Dynamic, accurate, proactive, and an excellent team player.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and action plans
