About the Role:

As a Technical Director, you will be accountable for the technical delivery and safety of multiple water-focused projects, ensuring high-quality solutions and leading the technical agenda for the practice. You will lead transformational programmes within water and wastewater treatment, supply, and collection systems, as well as contribute to high-profile projects both at home and internationally.

In this role, you'll be expected to:

• Oversee the technical delivery of complex water-related projects, ensuring exceptional standards in design, safety, and quality.
• Lead business development and technical direction for proposals and projects.
• Be a subject matter expert, providing strategic and technical leadership to both internal teams and clients.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement, promoting technical excellence across the organisation.
• Grow and mentor the water engineering team, providing vision and guidance to inspire others.
• Be a trusted partner to clients, offering expertise and creating lasting, strategic relationships.

What You Can Bring:

• Chartered Engineer status.
• Proven leadership abilities with a strong reputation for technical expertise.
• Expertise in water and/or wastewater treatment, hydraulics, and water systems.
• Extensive experience with current UK design standards and best practices.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams.
• A passion for innovation and advancing knowledge within the water engineering sector.
