Rate: Senior €320 p/d | Lead €380 p/d

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking highly skilled Quality Engineers (Manual/Automation) and Quality Engineer Leads to join their team and help with complex, global-scale client requests. These positions are ideal for candidates with senior or lead experience, and are fully remote, based on EU time zones. The ideal tech stack includes C#, Playwright, and Python.

Quality Engineers Manual/Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and application systems.
• Work closely with development teams to understand functional requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
• Implement and execute automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, C#, and Python.
• Identify, track, and report software defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality assurance best practices are followed throughout the development life cycle.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback for product improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in both manual and automation testing in web and application environments.
• Strong knowledge of C#, Playwright, and Python for test automation.
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Experience in testing complex systems on a global scale.

Quality Engineer Leads

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers (Manual/Automation) to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.
• Provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, and optimizing test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to align on quality standards, testing strategies, and release schedules.
• Oversee the development and execution of test plans, ensuring full coverage of all application functionality.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Track and report on key quality metrics, such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation success rates.
• Manage and prioritize testing activities in alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Act as the point of contact for all testing-related issues, providing guidance and support to team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in leading testing teams and delivering high-quality software in manual and automated testing environments.
• Strong proficiency with C#, Playwright, and Python for developing automation tests.
• Experience in leading the design and implementation of automation frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of Agile development practices and CI/CD processes.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate testing activities across different teams.
• Experience with complex, large-scale projects in a global setting.

Desirable:

• Experience with cloud-based testing tools and services.
• Familiarity with other testing frameworks and languages.
• Certifications in software testing (eg, ISTQB).
