We are looking for a Senior Python Developer who can start with this client within the next 4-6 weeks.

Salary upto £100k Depending on experience. Very quick interview process.

Ideally, you will have worked in financial services or fintech previously and contain the following skills;

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end to end Python applications, focusing on handling large datasets efficiently.
• Translate business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and tasks.
• Lead architecture and design discussions, contributing innovative ideas and approaches.
• Ensure high quality code through unit tests, integration tests, and documentation.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Manage technical dependencies and deliverables with strong technical insight.
• Will need UI awareness and ideally worked on applications producing large amounts of data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Python application development experience.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Git, SQL, and handling large datasets.
• Familiarity with test frameworks, Agile/XP (Scrum, Kanban, TDD) methodologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS).
• Strong software design skills and a delivery-focused mindset.
