Security Architect required for one of Glasgow's most prestigious professional services firms, on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract (with a real chance of becoming permanent). They currently have a team of 10 Architects, and you will be working across both Security and the Architecture team. This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term contract, however there is real opportunity for this to become permanent with the direction the company is going in. The company are currently going through a digital transformation and they have a number of tech roles.
They operate across a number of countries and are in the process of reviewing all of the business services offerings. These roles are sitting within the Enterprise Architecture function and you can be either an experienced Security Architect, or a more technical security resource who has spanned some form of architecture.
This is a new position across the organisation, and you will work closely alongside two other Security Architects, as well as the wider security function. Although the idea is to have 50/50 split of project work to BAU, this role is more likely to be around 70% project focus, with a number of new initiatives at play. This includes a secure web gateway and cloud access security broker implementation, as well as a privileged access management project. There is plenty to be getting on with.
The company you will be joining are undertaking large scale business change and there is plenty of work to be done now and moving forward. They treat their employees extremely well and have continued to grow over the last 5 years. They are looking for someone who can get into the Glasgow office, ideally a few times a week.
