Java Springboot Consultant - PLN 1000/1270 zloty a day - 3-6 months - Krakow (Poland)

This role involves designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance Back End services using Spring Boot. The successful candidate will implement RESTful APIs and gRPC services, ensuring seamless communication between microservices. You will work with technologies like Spring Data JPA, MongoDB, and Spring Security to manage data and ensure application security. The role also requires optimising applications for speed and scalability while adhering to 12-Factor App principles. The ideal candidate will be involved in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated with emerging technologies to maintain competitive solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance Back End services using Spring Boot. Collaborate with the solution architect to understand design plans and project requirements.
• Implement RESTful APIs and gRPC services to enable seamless communication between microservices.
• Utilise Spring Data JPA and MongoDB for efficient data management and persistence.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong proficiency in Java 11/17 and J2EE.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, including Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate, ORM concepts, and NoSQL database design (specifically MongoDB).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, API architecture, and design patterns, including experience with 12-Factor App principles.
• Strong experience with distributed/cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
