We are currently supporting our global client in their search for an OMP Integration Engineer.

Duration: 12 months +

Location: 100% remote

Languages: English speaking

Start date: February 2025

Our client is embarking on a Migration to S4/HANA and you will need to support the technical integration of our existing Planning solutions with the S4/HANA Solution while maintaining the integrity of the existing business functionality.

The role:

  • Responsible for technical oversight of Integration to S4
  • Understand the business's needs and priorities from the product to ensure integration to the new S4 Solution.
  • Understands the core functionality and template design of existing Planning systems and drives integration solutions to support near seamless support of existing template.
  • Understands development estimates and how levels of effort impact the priority of requirements.
  • Conduct effective impact assessments for any changes and ensure test scope address any identified risk, that this is reflected in the design of test scripts.
  • Liaise with functional squads (PP, Inventory, E2E, SNP, DP) to align on any integration changes that have a testing or functional dependency and guide User Story grooming.
  • Accountable for code written by squad members (3rd Party Vendor) that is high quality, well documented, aligned to standards, efficient, and is easy to maintain.
  • Drive testing and deployment of software solution, including ensuring sufficient automated testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Works with other Lead Engineers/squads to manage risks and solve, escalate, and track cross-squad dependencies and impediments.
  • Support capacity and release planning including aligning to any project or other High-Performance Teams (HPT) team timelines.
  • Move code through environments and into production (eg, Release Process)
  • Tracks progress of product build in the context of the larger program
  • Reports back to the business on status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications.
  • Support investigation and resolution of escalated incident and problem tickets including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
