Field Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Field Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a wide range of IT systems and equipment across the Surrey area. You will play a pivotal role in resolving technical issues, implementing solutions, and delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their technology needs are met with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software at client locations, including workstations, Servers, and networking equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Provide proactive maintenance to optimize system performance and reliability.

• Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Deliver safeguarding training and awareness where applicable.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Show initiative by completing additional online training relevant to the role.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
• Proven experience in a similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
• Certifications:
  • AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals).
  • CompTIA A+.
  • Managing Google Workspace.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
