We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Splunk Product Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in importing Configuration Items (CIs), building scalable frameworks to onboard multiple clients, and transitioning from event correlation to Adaptive Thresholds and predictive analysis.

This role is crucial in enhancing our observability capabilities, with a focus on Splunk Observability Cloud rather than traditional SIEM products.

Day Rate: Competitive

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 3 months (highly likely to extend)

• ITSI Implementation and Framework Development
• Adaptive Thresholds and Predictive Analytics
• Splunk Observability Expertise
• Client Onboarding and POC Development
• Platform Optimisation and Support

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive hands-on experience in Splunk ITSI development, deployment, and customisation.
• Proven track record of importing and managing Configuration Items (CIs) within ITSI.
• Strong background in Adaptive Thresholding, predictive analytics, and KPI monitoring.
• Proficient in Splunk Observability Cloud, with a focus on infrastructure monitoring, APM (Application Performance Monitoring), and RUM (Real User Monitoring).
• Demonstrable experience building scalable frameworks for multi-client onboarding.
• Ability to lead and deliver Proof of Concept (POC) projects and client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of event correlation, ITSM processes, and incident response workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to educate and mentor technical teams.
