Overview

A T24 Solutions Lead Engineer is a highly skilled technical professional responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex T24 solutions within a financial institution. They possess deep expertise in T24 banking software, coupled with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. This role requires a strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business objectives and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

o Provide technical leadership and guidance to the T24 development team.

o Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and methodologies.

o Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.

o Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Solution Design:

o Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

o Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient T24 solutions.

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.

o Ensure alignment of T24 solutions with overall IT architecture and strategy.

Project Delivery:

o Lead and manage T24 development projects from inception to completion.

o Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

o Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.

o Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.

Problem Solving:

o Identify and troubleshoot complex T24 issues.

o Provide innovative solutions to challenges and improve system performance.

o Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

System Optimization:

o Optimize T24 system performance and scalability.

o Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

o Implement changes to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

7-14 years of experience in T24 core banking system.

Strong proficiency in T24 core banking software, including T24 Transact, InfoBasic, and related modules.

In-depth knowledge of T24 architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Experience in T24 implementation, integration, and customization projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and mentor a team of T24 developers or Support associates.

Project management skills and experience.

Understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven track record of successful T24 project delivery.

Desired Skills

Experience with T24 Temenos Application Framework (TAF) and Temenos Architect.

Knowledge of other banking systems and applications.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Certifications in T24 or related technologies.
