Network Architect: DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules), Firewalls (Checkpoint or Fortinet).

We are recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer (5 years +) for a leading financial services organisation, with the ability to architect, design, define standards, generate and deploy blueprints of network designs. You will have proven commercial experience in high-availability Enterprise environments, ideally in financial services.

The role:

DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Firewalls, Load balancers, Time protocol, Proxy and Cloud applications infrastructure management, design and automation

Maintain the RIRs objects and DNS registrars DB

Assess, plan, design and implementation of the infrastructure

Capacity planning and troubleshooting of the network applications products, infrastructure, and services

Monitoring and observability of the network applications products infrastructure

Skills and experience required:

Seniority level above 5 years of experience in networking

Ability to architect, design, define standards, generate and deploy blueprints of network designs

Solid knowledge and experience with DDI (Infoblox), Load balancers (F5 with iRules), Firewalls (Checkpoint or Fortinet)

Knowledge and experience with RIRs (Regional Internet Registry) and DNS registrars

Automation with Python, Ansible, terraform, GitLab pipelines using DevOps practices.

Knowledge and experience with cloud connectivity and cloud networking constructs for at least one cloud provider - Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle

Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability protocols, tools, and applications

Manage numerous projects with competing priorities in a constantly changing environment

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant IT field and/or relevant certifications and experience

Finance industry experience is a plus.
