We are currently partnered with one of the UK's largest energy distributor in supporting out their brand new expansion of their software development team. You will be joining this team to help spearhead the ambitious goal of creating one of the most advanced software division within the renewable energy space and in return, allowing the organisation to become a tech led renewable energy organisation!

They have recently brought in a new Head of Engineering who has clear plans to develop the team further and create a class leading department in which you will be a direct influence in the design and architecture of new greenfield systems.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new designs systems via Typescript and proactively developing new products.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the deliverance of critical projects.
• Leading junior/midlevel software engineers.

Requirements

• Having worked on commercial application using typescript and Front End engineering.
• Having worked with a range of programming languages (agnostic as to which).
• Capable with Infrastructure as Code - particularly Azure Bicep and Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring/training up junior software engineers.
