Job Description:

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, customizing, and maintaining ABAP-based solutions for SAP systems. You will work on a variety of projects, from core SAP applications to cutting-edge solutions, ensuring that systems are optimized and meet the business needs. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely and from the office in Bratislava.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP ABAP Development: Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs and applications to enhance and customize SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) to meet business requirements.
• Enhancements & Modifications: Work on developing custom reports, user exits, BADI implementations, and custom workflows. Implement enhancements and modifications to improve system performance and functionality.
• Integration: Work on integrating SAP with other systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and process alignment.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs, ensuring smooth performance and minimal downtime.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, business stakeholders, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Code Reviews & Best Practices: Ensure that ABAP code is developed in compliance with coding standards, SAP best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Documentation & Testing: Prepare technical documentation for developed programs, perform unit testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP and ABAP technologies, proactively suggesting improvements to existing solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with a deep understanding of the SAP landscape (SAP S/4HANA, ECC).
• ABAP Skills: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including classical reports, ALV reports, enhancements (user exits, BADI), and workflows.
• SAP Modules: Familiarity with SAP functional modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, and WM is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, IDocs, BAPI, and RFC.
• Database Knowledge: Strong SQL skills, knowledge of database concepts, and experience working with SAP databases.
• Performance Tuning: Expertise in performance optimization of ABAP programs, understanding of memory management, and transaction management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Slovak is mandatory.
