Join a leading commodities and energy trading firm known for innovation, integrity, and a collaborative culture. My client are seeking a Risk Technical Analyst to join their Toronto team. You will help transform our risk management by decommissioning Legacy systems and transitioning to our new cloud-based platform, Mosaic. This role is ideal for those transitioning from Middle Office or Risk roles into tech and data science within the trading sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with decommissioning Legacy risk systems.
• Support data migration to a cloud-based data lake.
• Provide technical and risk management tool support.
• Collaborate with the COO/CRO and cross-functional teams.
• Apply SQL, Python, and market risk fundamentals to analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years' experience in risk support/analysis.
• Basic SQL & Python proficiency; exposure to commodities preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
