Business Intelligence Developer

Hybrid working - Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

You will be responsible for translating analytical requirements into technical specifications and build BI solutions accordingly. You will design and deploy solutions, working with the wider team to ensure solutions are supportable. Solutions conduct data analysis, deliver visualisations and reports, and support team collaboration and systems integration. The role involves troubleshooting, improving existing BI systems, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Physical implementations of solutions to deliver insight within the business and associated partners.

Insight is described as one or more of the following:

• Creating Dashboards
• Creating Reports
• Exploratory Data Analysis
• Data Science/Machine Learning
• Comprehension of the necessity for detailed formal technical documentation, such as User Requirements and Functional Specifications, with the ability to translate these into technical specifications, programming, test and UAT scripts, and training materials.

Requirements

• You will have 5 years plus experience delivering business analytics
• Power BI & DAX Experience to develop business critical dashboards for analysis.
• Background in data warehouse design (eg dimensional modelling) and data analysis skills (eg using Python)
• Strong SQL experience to analyse and Extract data.
• Experience with ETL tools and principles, including Azure, Synapse, and Fabric environments.
• Hands-On experience delivering analytical solutions based on PLM, CRM and ERP systems.
• Collaboration with data architect, data engineers, and data scientists is essential.
• Experience collaborating with data team members modelling data for effective solutions.
• Excellent client/user interaction skills to determine requirements.
