Location: UK or Germany (Role is fully remote)

Salary: Up to £94,000 - UK (90% Basic & 10% OTE) or €136,000 - Germany (90% Basic & 10% OTE)

They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Architectural Division in an EMEA Role where the major focus is on the UK and Northern Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business and work with high profile clients in the architectural and design sectors

This role requires an experienced Business Development professional with a wealth of experience in selling finishing products into high profile clients and who is well versed in providing a very consultative, technical sales approach whilst also working closely with key stakeholders on long term project deliverables.

As a Business Development Manager you will have an impact by:

  • Detailed understanding Architectural Finishes key market segments and route to market
  • Re-shaping our channel structure by specifying and selling our solutions to buildings faster.
  • Identifying untapped sales opportunities generated from new market trends and potential customers
  • Defining an end-to-end business strategy from idea creation to plan definition to sales execution.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with the main market players
  • Building sales and marketing tools to facilitate our value proposition delivery
  • Increasing the level of market awareness about our solutions via specialized magazines, collaboration with KOLs, industry events, trade association collaborations, etc
  • Identifying the main tradeshows and industry events to generate awareness
  • Organising customer events to build stronger relationships

Skills & Expertise

  • Proven track record of business management including sales leadership within the finishing and architectural sectors
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Ability to lead through influence and to focus on relationship building
  • Experience in interpreting market research or market insights
  • In-country sales or marketing experience
  • Demonstrable ability to consistently deliver sales targets
  • Out-of-the box thinking/Outside-in approach
  • English language skills both verbal and written (Fluent German and English if based in Germany)

Job Location

  • Candidate location - Can be located in either Germany or the UK
  • Role location - Remote based, flexible within the country
  • Travel: May include up to 25% of travelling both domestic and international
