Senior Ruby Developer - Payments Integration Fully Remote | UK Based Day Rate: £500 outside IR35 Are you an experienced Ruby Developer with a passion for payment integrations? We're looking for a Senior Developer to join a forward-thinking technology team, driving innovation and delivering seamless payment solutions on a contracting basis. The Role: As a Senior Ruby Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining payment integration systems that support a growing ecosystem. Your technical expertise and innovative approach will help deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions, ensuring excellent customer experience Responsibility Design, develop, and maintain payment integration systems using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and reliability Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to deliver end-to-end solutions. Develop and enhance integrations with third-party payment gateways, ensuring secure and efficient payment processing. Maintain high standards for code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and documentation. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical challenges to ensure system stability and performance. Implement scalable architecture to accommodate growth and evolving business requirement Requirement: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and knowledge of payment gateways or payment processing integrations. Minimum of 5 years in software engineering roles with a focus on Ruby development and integrations. Understanding of payment systems, transaction workflows, and relevant compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders across various functions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
