FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - CT Scanners
MEDICAL IMAGING EQUIPMENT
The Company
An exciting new Service Engineering opportunity is now available within an industry leading provider of medical imaging systems.
Training is provided and so this employer offers a rare opportunity for engineers with no medical experience to break into the much sought after medical field.
Through organic growth along with the acquisition of other companies, you would be joining this organisation during an exciting period of expansion.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer you would be part of the Service Engineering team carrying out installations, planned and reactive maintenance as well as break down repair work on a range of medical imaging systems such as MRIs, CTs, X-Rays and Ultrasounds.
You would be responsible for managing customers assigned to you, hospitals, predominantly in the Southern part of Ireland, in and around the Cork area. However, as with any field based role, flexibility to travel further afield will be required on occasions should this be required by the wider team and business.
You will be required to take part in an out of hours on call rota 1 in every 6 weeks, paid at 200EUR per week.
The Location
This role will predominantly involve travel locally in and around the Cork (with very occassional travel further afield to provide cover) and so ideally applicants will live within 45mins of Cork. However, flexibility to travel is essential.
Training
Training is provided. This employer regularly hires engineers from non-medical industries who have transferable electro-mechanical repair and software installation/upgrade skills.
Therefore, a comprehensive, "tried and tested" training plan is in place to ensure you are well supported and appropriately upskilled.
