Fata Center/Electrical technician for Data Center - 3 positions available
The Data Center Technician/Facility Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible for the maintenance, inspection and operation of all technical systems in a data center. This includes the recognition of potential risks in the existing systems due to wear, for example, but also the recognition of conditions that endanger general operational safety. Internal and external communication is also of particular importance. The candidate (m/f/d) should identify proactive upcoming problems and make suggestions for improvement.

Your main tasks will include the following: Carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs of all critical electrical systems in your area of responsibility Compliance with all internal and external training programs Installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems Switching medium voltage (16kV) Modifying the Electrical Cable System Knowledge of a CMMS system and tracking of all critical process services Tracking and closing of the customer's service orders according to SLAs Ensuring the correct and effective functioning of all equipment Assisting and guiding subcontractors in the execution of their operations, taking into account the agreed SLAs and CBRE safety and risk mitigation measures Daily rounds and inspections Writing of daily reports Identification of potential risks to the intended process or occupational safety Support of management in all areas On-site contact person for the customer and his employees

Successfully completed electrical engineering training with at least 3 years of professional experience Sufficient professional experience in the above-mentioned or similar main tasks, preferably in the field of data centers, hospitals, ocean-going shipping or other critical environments Possession of a NIV 15 permit or willingness to obtain it Experience in dealing with refrigeration/air conditioning units or in network cabling is an advantage Ability to recognize and explain technically complex relationships Motivated personality with the willingness to contribute his/her performance in this critical area of work and to throw himself/herself into new, exciting projects again and again PLC knowledge is an advantage Good PC/MS Office skills Good written and spoken English and German skills required
