Job Duties:

• As an IT Support Technician you will provide technical support to end-users on various IT issues both face to face and via the ticketing system
• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
• Installing and configuring computer systems
• Setting up new user accounts and profiles
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Ensuring security and data privacy of systems
• Update and ensure the IT inventory is accurate.
• Be responsible for IT stock and equipment, its storage and disposal.
• Working as part of a Helpdesk team of 8, the IT Support Technician will also support their colleagues with technical queries

Required Experience:

• Experience within an IT Support Technician role
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and willingness to liaise with users face to face
• Experience working as part of a Helpdesk team
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop system and applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and TCP/IP, switching, routing, SMTP, Proxy Servers, DHCO and DNS.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and peripherals and anti-virus software.
• Experience using a ticketing system
• VMWare experience would be beneficial

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional need for evening and weekend work
• Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
